After Forever - Prison of Desire (2000)

Primer disco de la banda holandesa After Forever, en tiempos cuando los hermanos Jansen (Mark y Floor) trabajaron juntos. Este album se distingue por ser, en mi opinión, el verdadero Gothic Metal (entiéndase como "¡ASI DEBERÍA SER SIEMPRE!"). Coros que invocan catedrales monumentales, misticismo, la voz elegante y poderosa de Floor Jansen y los guturales demoniacos de Mark Jansen, y una tematica religiosa dan un "orden caotico" a esta obra maestra. Desde la introducción hará que cualquiera quiera adentrarse a la historia que After Forever nos quiere contar.
